Delivery and returns

The Scandinavian imperative to keep warm as winter beds in, bringing with it carpets of snow and plummeting mercury, is of course a national necessity. Yet it is a challenge that, over centuries, its communities have met with ingenuity and indeed style – and nowhere more so than on the Swedish island of Gotland. Famed for its distinctive, grey curls, the Gotland skin has been keeping Nordic folk warm for hundreds of years, its quality particularly fine, its beauty irrefutable and its soft and tactile curly hide irresistibly cosy and winningly versatile. Used as a throw or a rug, it inexorably beckons you to dive into its soft curls by dint of its natural warmth, the while imbuing its surroundings with understated Scandinavian style thanks to its muted colour and unfussy aesthetic. Each skin is distinct; each was born and reared on the island; and each is a by-product of the food industry, with no animals harmed just for procuring their hides. Responsibly produced in terms of both ethics and the environment, they speak of timelessness, connecting us to our roots.
To clean, shake the skin to remove loose debris, and machine or hand-wash in lukewarm water. If needed: use shampoo pH 3.5 – 5.5, and do keep the skin flat while drying.
