There has, surely, never been a cosier invention than that veritable hug of a home accessory: the hot water bottle. Whilst transcendent comfort is part of any example’s fundamental make-up, not all hot water bottles are created equal, as evinced in the Nelly Lambswool rendition of the winter staple. Its mid-grey with white pin stripes imbues the aesthetic with a winningly unfussy and contemporary look, while the sublimely soft Hampshire-reared lambs’ wool makes cradling it, frankly, inevitable. It is supplied with a two-litre natural rubber hot water bottle, and should be washed in a cool delicate cycle at 30 degrees.
