A.S Apothecary is a small-batch distillery whose raw ingredients hail from flowers, leaves and roots harvested in Sussex, Cyprus and Scotland. Via every hand-made potion, founder Amanda Saurin’s goal is to heal and nourish, while vowing to do no harm, either to skin or the environment. A.S Apothecary’s slow meditative approach and its wisdom has been passed from hand-to-hand through generations of healers and makers. Each pot contains a particular magic unique to the harvest its ingredients were sourced from.

The perfect moisturising, conditioning, non-greasy and nourishing every-day use body lotion sounds so simple. It remains, nonetheless, one of the lesser-seen and more elusive elements in the essential skincare arsenal. All hail then A.S Apothecary’s outstanding light body lotion which does all of the above whilst simultaneously smelling sublime. How? First with jojoba oil for its excellent moisturising properties and non-greasy yet silky finish. Next, expect an evocatively dark and spicy-scented Indonesian patchouli, whose credentials as a skin regenerator in the treatment of scarring and cracked, sore skin have been proved again and again over the centuries. Grapefruit oil and citronella from Cyprus lends is a upliftingly scented decongestant and finally sandalwood balances the sharper citrus with sweet and woody exotic notes to create a harmonious blend that improves both your skin and your mood, daily.
