There exists, in the pursuit of balance, a particular juncture where the delicate meets the sturdy. To us, that confluence represents the aesthetic sweet spot. The slightly rotund form of this set of two beeswax candles hits it just so, the fragility of the flame offset by the robustness of the shape. 

While, when it comes to candles, we are inclusive in our tastes – tall, short, slim, sturdy; all work for us – we also must doff our caps to the sheer devotion that has gone into these, which burn for some twelve hours.

They are made in Cumbria using the traditional candle-making technique of hand-– a rhythmic process of gradually building up each candle layer by repeatedly dipping wicks, all hung from a frame, into molten wax. Since each layer must cool before the next is added, the whole process is extensive and requires the utmost dedication to the craft. Twelve hours then, gives time enough to consider the extraordinary love that has been poured into their creation.
