Our Mother’s Day message to you all. (And a very special note to our R&W Mums, we couldn’t do it without you! x)

Upholstered in Zoe’s delicate Windmill Wood Stripe, our classic Finley chair adds a fresh, clean accent to any room for this Spring. In a heavy linen-blend fabric this timeless piece is perfect for everyday use, the dark indigo print on a warm white base creates a stunning update for coastal living.

Our new Slade Stripe and Mottram Meadow cushions are made from 100% pure linen, each carefully selected fabric consists of an inky blue pattern resting on a natural linen ground, creating soft, subtle and also very practical pieces for your living room or bedroom. You can view the collection here.

Introducing our latest furniture collection. Expertly crafted from pure oak, our Witham furniture will look equally at home in a country cottage as it would in a contemporary town house.  Head over to our new arrivals to view the collection in full.

With a few new wardrobe additions following Christmas, January is a great time for a clothing clear out and re-style. After an abnormally mild Winter there is a new freshness in the air which happily leads us to layer up, one of our favourite ways to dress. A mix of warm and cool neutrals from shades of camel through to soft marl greys provide a timeless palette in varied textures. In the hope for some dryer days ahead, we’re enjoying the layering teamed with a smart pair of leather loafers or brogues, bare ankles hinting towards Spring around the corner.

At the beginning of each month we like to curate a little collection of pieces that we’re currently coveting. December’s collection naturally becomes a Christmas wish list, although admittedly it is a little one sided from the female half of R&W, a male curation would undoubtedly be quite different! As we begin to plan the details of our cottage renovation which kicks off in the Spring, we’re naturally drawn to artisan ceramics and beautiful homewares in a muted and timeless palette. Although the lamp featured (from Howe London) isn’t particularly ‘cottage’ in its style, we’ve been in love with this for some time so it has earned its place, the perfect shade of pink! When it comes to fashion we’re particularly drawn towards colour blocking at the moment as seen on a couple of examples here, and of course the obligatory flowers and jewellery never go a miss!

In a blink November is here, and although it feels unseasonably warm, there is most definitely a whiff of winter in the air. The occasional bare tree, foggy mornings and a spattering of Christmas appearing in shop windows, for us winter brings with it a great deal of excitement about the festivities to come. As with every season we like to embrace it with seasonal activities and recipes, whether it’s frosty morning walks or cosy nights in with copious amounts of comfort food, however you choose to embrace winter be sure to enjoy it.
