Care instructions: we suggest bringing the cushions into a dry, covered area when not in use and during inclement weather. The covers can be removed and washed at no more than 30ºC.

Teak can be left outdoors in any weather and requires very little maintenance. Left to age naturally, it’ll weather to a soft silvery grey giving it a timeless look. The ageing process can be slowed down by storing your furniture under cover when not in use, but that is not essential.

As the surface layer is exposed to the elements it will become less smooth but over time it’ll revert to a smooth surface once again. Small cracks may appear, especially on the end grain. These are perfectly normal and will not affect the strength or durability of the furniture.

Due to its high content of natural oils and minerals, you don't need to oil your teak furniture. Doing so can leave it vulnerable to mould and mildew.

It should be cleaned every six months using a scrubbing brush and warm soapy water. Brush lightly in the direction of the grain and once it's clean, hose down with water and allow it to dry naturally. The rest of the year, it can be simply dusted off with a soft cloth. Signs of mould can be removed with a mild vinegar solution.

Any spillages should be mopped up immediately with warm, soapy water. Heavy stains can be gently sanded out of your teak garden furniture using a fine-grade sandpaper. Always sand with the grain to avoid scratching the teak. The sandpaper will temporarily leave a lighter patch but with exposure to the elements, it will soon disappear.
