Happily, design at its best presents solutions to daily problems, and so it is that the Everett Oak Console Table transforms a muddled mess into something elegant and beautiful. Its slim dimensions enables it to slip stylishly into a hallway, where solid oak slender legs support an ideal repository for all those everyday accoutrements. An updated take on a classic console, the antique brass knobs lift the traditional form, while the drawers themselves are handy for tucking away unsightly but useful bits and bobs. The bottom shelf, meanwhile, provides a spot for the day’s papers, perhaps in a woven basket for a suitably country cottage effect. On top, simply add a recycled glass vase for a finishing flourish with cascading blooms to brighten the day as you leave – and later return – to the house. Made from solid oak.
