The season gently stirs memories of Christmases past, inspired by handmade traditions and playing homage to archival textiles, their gentle geometrics and folksy illustrations whispering of festive yet understated Scandinavian sensibilities. Our collection transports us to childhood Christmas mornings, capturing the magic of frost-dusted December days and the quiet joy amidst the festive merriment.

Hand painted decorations
The ritual of decking the halls is a delight imbued with magic, nostalgia and the quiet reassurance of rediscovery as long-beloved baubles are dusted down once more. From bell garlands to our hand-painted papier mâché decorations which hang from twig or branch on opulent velvet ribbons, they are folksy, festive and destined to weave their magic through the years and ever after.
DECK YOUR HALLS
Handmade Wrapping Paper
Parcelling up presents with care is as much an act of love as the bestowal of the gift itself. Our handmade paper, created using Lokta paper from the bark of Nepalese mulberry bushes, is available in a medley of geometric and ditsy patterns across a palette of soft pinks and grounding olives. Each design sings sweetly of the season, whether used alone or in the company of its complementary colours and prints – and never more so than when finished with a luxuriant velvet ribbon.

The creation of a festive atmosphere runs deeper than simply scattering the scene with lights, trees and baubles. It is an art of blending deep winter comfort with the warmth of a cosseting embrace. Luxurious upholstery in rich, seasonal hues sets the stage, while low, ambient lighting, such as our handcrafted wall candle holder, beckons festive revellers in with its inviting glow. A beautifully adorned tray brimming with seasonal treats completes the scene, each element thoughtfully chosen to infuse every corner of a room with enchantment.

Rowen & Wren x Re-engage
We are delighted to announce our collaboration with the artist Sam Scales on two evocative Christmas card designs, the proceeds of which will be donated to Re-enage, a charity dedicated to reducing loneliness in later life. Through hosting tea parties and volunteer-led activities, its work focuses on combating the social isolation that affects millions of people over the age of 75. Christmas is a time for kindness and goodwill to all, and we are proud to support Re-enage’s mission to bring joy and companionship to those who need it most.
